What is Resistance?

Resistance is something you oppose. In the book 1984 written by George Orwell is about
Winston trying to resist big brother. Big brother is the government trying to control everything,
and Winston does not want a part of that anymore.
Everybody in 1984 is resisting big brother in some way. Big Brother wants people to
resist him and not at the same time. If you resist big brother like Winston did, big brother would
make a public example out of you. Winston tries to revel against big brother on his own way.
Winston was committing crimes that were made by big brother. Winston try to revel against
something way more bigger than him and at the end he fail. What Winston didn’t know was that
he was also helping big brother. Big Brother wants people to revel so he can make an example
out of him, and keep control over the people. All the other citizens are somewhat reveling
against big brother this is because big brother wants you to revel against him.
Resisting is helping and not helping at the same time. The government wants this because
they can still have control over everybody else. So there is no way to resist against something
bigger than you.
